“I was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama,” says Kenyata. “Customers are surprised to see an actual person come up to assist them. Once they see us, they light up.”

“We’re able to assist our customers and give them that personal connection just as if they were going into a branch to conduct their business.”

Kenyata says her favorite part of being a teller is helping customers in moments when they cannot go into a branch, during extended hours and on Saturdays. Many of the customers will share events in their lives they’re excited about.

“They’ll tell me about their kids or grandkids. I’ve heard customers say they’re getting ready to go on vacation. One customer told me her son was getting married. She was excited, so I was excited about it with her,” says Kenyata.
