Cadence Bank Announces Two Senior Leadership Corporate Banking Appointments in Dallas

DALLAS, August 3, 2022 – Cadence Bank (NYSE: CADE) is pleased to announce key market leadership commercial banking promotions in Dallas, Texas. Andrew Widmer has been appointed to executive vice president, senior managing director - Dallas middle market banking and Brandon Dunn to executive vice president, managing director of mid-corporate banking.

Details on the New Dallas Leadership Appointments:


Andrew Widmer
 brings 20 years of banking experience to this role and will focus on using his talents to lead the Dallas commercial and industrial (C&I) banking efforts, developing innovative growth strategies for clients, supporting the team's long-term success and continuing to support the communities the bank serves.

Widmer will work closely with seasoned banker and Dallas native Ron Baker, regional sales executive, and Barry Kelly, senior executive group manager of Texas C&I banking.

Prior to his new role, Widmer led the North Texas Corporate Banking team at BancorpSouth Bank, a division of Cadence Bank.

He received his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, double majoring in accounting and finance. 


Brandon Dunn
, who has 14 years of corporate banking experience, will be responsible for developing and supporting the bank's corporate banking efforts, providing highly customized banking solutions to upper middle market private and publicly traded companies in North Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri. Dunn will work closely with Mark Simoes, executive vice president, senior managing director of mid-corporate banking at Cadence Bank.

He received his bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University, double majoring in finance and marketing. He carries Series 79 (Investment Banking Rep), Series 63 (Securities Agent) and Certified Treasury Professional ("CTP") designations.

These leaders, with more than 30 combined years of industry experience, will guide Cadence Bank’s success in the market by continuing to build on the strong foundation already in place through the bank’s deep roots in the North Texas market.
