Teresa's credentials

Stinson leads teams and develops new business for Cadence Bank, a top 50 bank in the U.S. with $50 billion in assets. Her responsibilities include leading and participating in senior credit facility syndications, direct lending to commercial clients, and financing private equity mergers and acquisitions. She manages all aspects of the Florida market loan portfolio and drives growth for Cadence Bank in Florida.

 

She participates in various aspects of the company’s growth, including budgeting, merger integration, new market expansion, initial public offerings, acquisition development, credit policy, company culture, employee incentive campaigns, client product development and training and development of employees. She has also developed a business case for the Commercial Loan Operations Improvement Process, launched a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiative, and served as a member of the Alternative Investment Committee.

 

Stinson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida and an Executive MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She is a founder and past president of Voices for Children of Tampa Bay and serves as a director on multiple boards, including the MIT Leadership Center Advisory Board, the Tampa Museum of Art Foundation, and the University of Tampa Board of Trustees. Additionally, she has been recognized as a 40 Under 40 Award recipient by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. She is a member of Leadership Tampa Alumni, the Association for Corporate Growth, Women’s Executive Leadership, the CEO Council of Tampa Bay, Golden Triangle and the Latino Corporate Directors Association.
