How to Make a Mortgage Payment Online

Paying your mortgage online is a fast, secure and convenient way to stay on top of your home loan payments. With Cadence Bank, online payments are easy to make.

Step 1: Log In to Your Online Banking Account

Start by visiting CadenceBank.com or opening the Cadence Mobile App. Enter your username and password to access your account. If you haven’t enrolled in Online and Mobile Banking, you can do it here.

Step 2: Navigate to the Payments Page

Once logged in, click on Mortgage to reach the mortgage page. Click on the Payments tab. The menu will have several options, including Payment History, Make a Payment, Manage AutoPay and Manage My Wallet. Click on Make a Payment.

A page will load showing your monthly payment. It is the default option for making payments, but you can also make additional payments to Principal Only or your Escrow account should you have a need.

Step 3: Making the Payment

Make sure Monthly Payment is selected. By default, the date of the payment is set to the current date. If you wish to change the date to a future date, fill out the date you would like the payment to be executed. Then, select the Payment Account. This is the account from which your online payment portal will withdraw funds. If you have an account set up as your default in your Wallet, this will be the account you will pay from unless you select a different account.

Click Next. You will see a message pop up asking you to confirm that you wish to make your payment. Click Yes, and your payment will be complete. That’s it! If you want to view your payment history for confirmation of payments, you can do so by clicking the Payments tab at the top of the page and selecting Payment History.

Managing Your Wallet

If you have never made an online mortgage payment, you may need to set up an account in your Wallet. To do so, click the Payments tab at the top of the page and select Manage My Wallet. Select Add a Payment Method. Choose either Checking or Savings. The platform will walk you through filling out your routing and bank account numbers. You can find these at the bottom of the check. By scrolling down the page, an illustration shows where on a check you can find the routing and account number. Fill out the information and click “Save,” and you’re ready to start making payments!
