How to Use Mobile Banking to Check Balances and Make Transactions

Banking with your smart device can be easy. Mobile Banking is a simple yet powerful app that lets you stay connected to your accounts wherever you go. Want to check a balance? You can see it instantly in one tap. Or, if your device supports biometric authentication, simply log in with either your fingerprint or facial recognition. Once logged in, you can review accounts, pay bills, transfer money, deposit checks and send money safely. You can even set up transaction alerts to know if your balance drops and when your checks clear. Plus, you can bank with confidence as multi-layer security measures Help protect your account from potential fraud.
How to Get Started
Search for us in Google Play for Android-based devices or the App Store for Apple devices. Install the app and log in with your existing Online Banking credentials. Haven't signed up yet? Just tap the Enroll Now feature to register for Online & Mobile Banking.
A Quick Tour
- With Mobile Banking, it's easy to stay connected to your accounts, no matter where you are. You can preview balances right from the login page. You can even use your fingerprint or facial recognition to log in securely. Once logged in, you can review accounts, transfer money, pay bills, deposit checks, and send money safely.
Selecting Accounts displays account balances. Then, just select the account for which you want to view its details. Under History, you’ll see a detailed list of the account’s recent transactions and be able to search the history. Selecting Details allows you to change your account nickname, view your entire account number, and see a variety of information pertaining to this account.
Use the Menu to navigate to other pages quickly:

Want to make a transfer? Select Transfers, click Make a Transfer, select the accounts, enter the amount you want to transfer, and choose a scheduling option.

Click Bill Pay to see your dashboard for all your bill payment activity.

Need to make a deposit? Depositing a check is easy. Select Deposits, click Deposit a Check, choose the account you want to deposit into, enter the amount, and snap a couple of photos.
Diving Deeper
Now that you know about the most common functions of Online and Mobile Banking, let’s go deeper into the features. The menu in the upper right offers additional services. Under Accounts you can view summaries, view your statements online, stop payments on checks and easily order checks.
- Transfers offers powerful tools for controlling movement of your money. You can make quick transfers, view your transfer activity and transfer money to and from accounts you own.
- Profile is where you’ll find access to your personal options, such as your physical address, phone number, email address, password, user ID, and security questions and answers.
- Settings allows you to manage information such as the Alerts you’ve subscribed to, the devices used to access your accounts, your access to balance previews on the login screen, or sign up for text banking.
- Messages is where you can manage your secure communications with us. When finished, we recommend logging out to end your session securely.
How Secure Login Works
With Mobile Banking, staying connected to your accounts on the go is easy. Simply download our app and log in as usual. Or, if you're new to Online Banking, you can enroll right from here. Once enrolled, logging in is easy and secure. Just follow these simple steps.

Begin by typing your user ID, enter your password, then continue.

When a new device is detected, or our system detects suspicious activity, you may be asked to further verify your identity by entering a one-time passcode. This strong approach to security provides simple access to your accounts and offers powerful protection against online fraud.

Select how you'd like to be notified. Based on your selection, you'll receive a text message or phone call containing your one-time code.

Enter this code to securely log in.
That's it! You're now logged in to a secure yet powerful tool for managing your finances.
Biometrics Enrollment
The Biometric Authentication feature allows you to log in to our app using either a fingerprint or facial recognition. If your device supports biometric authentication, and you have enabled it, this will eliminate the need to type in your password every time you log in. Enabling this feature is easy. Once logged in, simply open the menu and navigate to the enrollment page. Next, you need to give your device a name, for example, “My Phone.” This name will appear under your Authorized Devices list in Settings, allowing you to see which devices have this feature activated. Then, you'll need to enter your user ID and password to verify your identity and enroll your device. That’s all it takes. The next time you log in, you can use your fingerprint or facial recognition to simply and securely access your accounts.
Forgot Password
If you’re having trouble logging in or not sure you’re using the correct password, you can reset your password at any time without having to call a service number. From the login page, simply select Forgot Password. Just enter the requested information to confirm your identity. We’ll send a one-time passcode to your phone. Enter the code to continue. Choose a new password and confirm it. You can now log in using your new password.
Deposits
To deposit a check, begin by properly endorsing the check you will be depositing. Taking a moment to properly endorse your check helps ensure it’s accepted. When ready, select Deposit and choose the account to make your deposit. Then, enter the amount. Now, take a photo of the front of the check. Photograph the check against a background that gives you a strong contrast. Ensure the entire check is visible, in focus and well-lit. When ready, snap your picture. Repeat this process for the back of the check. Once both images have been captured, make your deposit. You can view recent deposits at any time. When depositing checks using your smartphone, it's recommended that you write a note on the original document reminding you that the check has been deposited. Then, store the document until you've confirmed it's been accepted before safely destroying it.
