Features Include:

Client Facing

Updates to User Contact Information Sign on Task

Currently, both email address and mobile phone number for an Allegro user are optional fields. With this release, these fields are now mandatory. Labels next to the fields suggest the user provides unique email address and unique mobile phone number.

New User Verification Authentication Link Expiration Extension

Recent January release of the New User ID distribution automation allows our Treasury Management Operations, Treasury Management Client Support and Small Business Client Care teams Bank Administrators to send the user verification email to new Allegro users upon setup and allows the new Allegro user to click a link in the email to complete their setup, set their password, and reveal their user ID. The user verification authentication link is now set to expire on the fourth business day from user setup date.

Updates to File Transfer User Interface

Today, Allegro does not indicate if a file has been viewed. With this release, the system will now indicate when the file was viewed and by whom.

Additionally, markers will indicate whether a file has been viewed by the Allegro user themselves or by someone else within their company. The color-coded markers work similar to read and unread coding in web and email systems, and include:

  • A dark blue marker - indicates that the file has not been downloaded by anyone in the business
  • A light blue marker - indicates that the file has not yet been viewed by the logged in user, but has been viewed by someone else within the business
  • No marker indicates - that the file has been viewed by the logged in user

New filter located at the top of the file browser area - allows the user to filter the files list based on whether files have been viewed by them or by others at their company. This makes it easy to find files that have not yet been viewed for download without browsing through every file. Setting these filters at any folder will display the respective matching files from that folder downward.

Financial Institutions Group Loan Payment Option Update

Currently, for Financial Institutions Group (FIG) loan payment options in Allegro Transfers for loans are Regular Payment and Principal Only. Based on the way FIG loans are set up in Bankway, the regular payment option doesn't allow transfers to post correctly.

Implementation of the following changes will allow transfers to FIG Loan type BL38 to post correctly for outstanding loan balances:

  • Regular Payment option will appear on screen with a note stating the option is not available.
  • Payment Due on Date will be hidden
  • Principal Only option will be available
    • Current outstanding principal balance will be added
  • Interest Only option will be added
    • Current outstanding interest balance will show

  • Note: All other loans transfers will remain unchanged.

Positive Pay Payee Match Scrub Process Enhancements

Currently, Deposit Operations offshore team does not have ability to filter by a job number for the Payee Match items presented throughout the day causing confusion and inefficiency in Payee match pre-scrubbing process. With this release, a new filter has been added to the Payee Match Scrub screen and the Payee Match Report to allow users to filter by Job number for a specific date.

    Payee Match Report Updates Include:

On the Payee Match Report New columns have been added to Payee Match Report in an effort to provide information about which daily job run the item was processed in.

The following changes have been made to the report:

    • Scrubbed Dropdown - The scrubbed and not scrubbed checkboxes were changed to a dropdown list to avoid the prospect of unselecting both checkboxes and pulling back no records.
    • New "Date Option" dropdown – allows the user to choose the date selection mode. The 2 choices are:
      • Single Date – select a Single presentment date, where the new Job # field becomes available for the you to filter by items in a specific job run (1,2,3 and 4).
      • Date Range – You can choose a start and end presentment date. The new Job # field is not available in this mode.
    • New Job Run # dropdown - allows you to filter by items in a specific job run (1,2,3 and 4). The new job number filter will appear only when a Single Date is selected in the date filter.
    • Empty values - Dashes were added for empty column values.

    General Enhancements & Defect Remediation

    Balance Reporting

Balance Reporting Check Number Export Fixed

In the Balance Reports below, when the check number was too long it could cause an export to fail or just not display the related check number.

    • Current Day
    • Previous Day
    • Returns Items

This has been fixed when exporting the above reports in PDF or Excel.

Online Statements Account List Text Wrapping Fixed in IE

In the new Online Statements screen, long account nicknames were wrapping in the accounts list and were not aligning correctly in IE browser. This has been fixed.

    Before After

File Transfers Tag and Validation Fixed

The following File Transfer file upload with date custom field and validation messages have been updated:

    1. Date custom fields in file uploads are tagged as invalid

When choosing an upload file type that includes a date custom field, the upload would fail indicating the date is not valid.

    2. Validation messages for invalid custom fields during file uploads are not descriptive

When uploading a file that requires custom fields, and when the custom fields are not valid, the validation messages displayed do not provide enough information for the user to determine the issue.

This has been fixed to display better messages with more details as shown below.

    Account Analysis Export Cleanup

The following changes were made in effort to clean up the Account Analysis export as these were not being used:

    1.    Removed 3020 Items Deposited - Images from monthly billing
    2.    Remove 8111 Return Items Online (Per Acct) from billing file
    3.    Remove 8112 Return Items Online (Per Item) from billing file

    Positive Pay

Positive Pay File Export Definitions Page Fixed

In the Positive Pay file definitions list, when there are no export definitions that exist, the table should show the message text "There are no export definitions defined".

    This has been fixed.

    Positive Pay Outstanding Report -

Pending items sent to host but not posted not honoring "as of date"

The Positive Pay Outstanding report includes both posted items in the ARP system as well as pending items that have sent to the host via exported issued item files from Allegro but have not yet posted in the host. The report is not honoring the as of date cutoff for the pending items. E.g. if you choose 12/31/2019 as the "as of" date for the report, items sent to the host today in an issued item export are included in the results. Those items should not show because they are after the As Of date and therefore were not outstanding checks as of that date.

    ACH Positive Pay

ACH Debit Authorizations Report Required Filters Highlighted

Some reports, such as ACH Debit Authorizations may require one or more filters to be applied before running the report. The report User Interface is updated to highlight any required filters. The “Play” report button will not be enabled until a filter is set.

ACH Decisions Report Detail/Summary Button Added Back

When the ACH Positive Pay decisions list was separated from the report selector, the ability to switch between summary and detail views was also removed. The buttons have been added back to the ACH decisions list

    General

    Special Characters Search Issue Fixed

Special characters like $ [ ] % ^ _ in the following fields were causing issues throughout Allegro site. Search fields now allow special characters search. This has been Fixed.

    User search

    • user short name
    • first name
    • last name
    • business name

    ACH Preauthorization search

    • Company/Sender ID
    • Name

Auto-run No Longer Available in Some Reports to Minimize Wait Times

This applies to the admin User Provisioning reports, including future reports such as Pos Pay 2.0 reports and ACH Pos Pay 2.0 reports.

Some report screens are set to auto-run the reports while others are not. When the report is not set to auto-run mode, the report does not run when entering the screen. Instead, the user makes their filter elections and then presses the “Play” button. Each time the user changes a filter, the play button will turn green indicating the report criteria has changed and must be re-run. However, in this mode it will not automatically re-run - the user must press the play button when all of their filter elections are made.

Clicking the filter icon when the advanced filters are toggled "on" will collapse the filters.

The reset filter icon is designed to reset the filters back to the original default values that were present when the page loaded.

The “Play” button is used to run the report after the filter criteria have already been entered.

Note: The reports that are set to auto-run when entering the screen, the “Play” button will change to show a refresh icon, which means that the report has already run but pressing again will re-run the report with the same criteria.

    Reports Date Filter Fixed

In some instances, when filtering on a date in certain reports, the results may include records that have a date that is 1 day outside the selected date range. Here are examples of reports that have date filters. In some cases, setting a date range = 2/11/2020 might show results that had 2/10/2020. This was due to the time element not being converted properly from local date/time to UTC. This has been fixed in reports below.

    • Business search (date added, date deleted)
    • User search (date added, date deleted, date disabled, last login)
    • ACH Pos Pay decisions (user and/or admin) - posting date (no time), decision date
    • ACH Preauths - end date (no time), date created
    • Balance Reporting - ACH Search - item date (no time)

    Framework

A new event processing system has been created to make the Allegro platform more open and easier to integrate with other systems. This feature now has the ability to generate system events that follow a publisher/subscriber model.

An example of this is the interaction with the new Admin Task Manager. Using the new event system, the system can be configured to automatically insert tasks into task manager when certain events occur. Examples of this might include:

    • Adding SSO user setup tasks when a user is given a role that includes access to an SSO module.
    • Adding a host account setup task when an account is created on a business and given access to Positive Pay so that the operator can make the necessary configurations to ensure the account generates exceptions for Positive Pay.
    • Adding a host account setup task when an account is created on a business and given access to ACH Positive Pay so that the operator can setup the default debit preauthorization/filter that ensures that all incoming ACH debits will generate exceptions to the business.
    • Adding a task to review a business for removal when the last user of that business has been removed.
