Fourth-Generation Houstonian F. Allen Lyons Joins Cadence Bank’s Trust & Asset Management Group

HOUSTON, February 2, 2021 – Cadence Bank, a subsidiary of Cadence Bancorporation (NYSE: CADE), announced today that its Trust & Asset Management group has welcomed fourth-generation Houstonian F. Allen Lyons as senior vice president of business development – trust & asset management.

His knowledge and talent will bring an expanded depth of local expertise to clients.”

With more than 15 year of industry experience, Lyons will support Trust & Asset Management Executive Patrick Pacheco with business development efforts in the Houston market, focused on overall portfolio growth by showcasing the bank’s unique and innovative capabilities. 

Prior to joining Cadence Bank, Lyons was vice president of investments at Houston Trust Company where he was responsible for implementing investment strategies and reviewing investment performance. Prior to that, he was a vice president, wealth strategies and a business development officer at Atlantic Trust Company (now CIBC Private Wealth Management) where he co-managed and serviced approximately $1.4 billion of client portfolio relationships. 

“My goal is to provide strategic direction and help identify positive opportunities for the team,” said Lyons. “This is an exciting move for me, and I’m thrilled to join a group with such great expertise and eagerness to grow.” 

Lyons has a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas and a bachelor’s in accounting from Louisiana State University. He serves on the board of directors at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and on the board of trustees at Menninger Clinic Foundation and St. Francis Episcopal School.
