Life at Cadence

If you're a problem-solver motivated by a desire to offer innovative solutions for your clients, then Cadence is the place for you.

Cadence In the Community

We believe it is our obligation to contribute to the betterment of our communities through financial investments and voluntarism.

In communities where we do business, we support a variety of non-profit, civic and economic development organizations that share our interest in improving local prosperity, economic self-sufficiency, education, and the health and well-being of community members.

Cadence Bank associates are enthusiastic and involved, volunteering their time by serving in leadership positions or taking their place on the front lines. Their generosity is a source of pride for Cadence Bank, and we encourage their involvement in community-building efforts.

The Cadence Culture

We're committed to being there for the moments that matter. Here's the code we live by:

  • Do Right: Do right by others. Your customers, your colleagues and yourself.
  • Own It: We're accountable for what works as well as what doesn’t. We are doers who believe that every step forward eventually becomes a path for others to follow.
  • Embrace We: Nothing is more powerful than coming together as a diverse group of passionate professionals committed to our colleagues, customers and community.
  • Fresh Thinking Welcome Here: Achieving our vision depends on challenging convention to find new and better ways to best serve our clients. Customer focus is our bread-and-butter.
Most of all, we value listening. We believe listening builds trust, which forms the foundation of all our lasting relationships.

Our Policies: Safe, Healthy, Responsible

Cadence Bank is dedicated to maintaining a safe, open, honest and ethical workplace. We have established a Code of Conduct that explicitly states our mandates for honesty and integrity in everything we do. All Cadence Bank associates are expected to adhere to this Code of Conduct. The Cadence Bank Code of Conduct details the high standards expected of every associate, as well as the ramifications for unacceptable behavior.

  • Honesty and candor are required in all activities. We expect our associates to observe the spirit and letter of the law.
  • Confidentiality of information must be maintained under all circumstances.
  • Associates are required to conduct their personal affairs in a way that avoids conflict, or even the appearance of conflict, between the associate's self-interest and his or her duty to Cadence Bank, its customers and its shareholders.
  • To maintain our reputation, associates cannot, directly or indirectly, use their position for private gain, to advance personal interests, or to obtain favors or benefits for themselves, members of their family or any other person

The Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX, 2002) sets a high standard for corporate governance and responsibility. SOX created a regulatory environment that not only encourages speaking up against fraud and unlawful behavior - it requires it. Cadence supports the principles and practices of SOX, embracing the kind of transparent workplace promoted by the law.

Attributes of our safe, healthy workplace include:

  • "Open Door" policy encourages reporting of unlawful behavior and security threats
  • A drug, alcohol and tobacco-free workplace

  • Zero tolerance for all forms of violence and aggressive behavior
  • Intolerance for discriminatory treatment
